This warning includes northwest and north central Massachusetts.
Freezing rain and sleet will continue into mid afternoon... heavy at times. Significant ice accretions of one third to one half inch are expected during the daylight hours today.
Tonight will continue to be slippery... as mixed precipitation changes back over to snow or snow showers.
Icing may cause some wires or tree limbs to fall to the ground. Be very cautious if venturing outside and plan on extra time to reach your destination.
